Welcome To Tenaran Stud's Website Minimize

Our names are Kathy Jones and Jon Morgan and we are based just outside Cardiff. We are members of the N.F.R.S. , M.R.C and of various online rat forums including The Wales and West Rat Club Rat Lovers UK Fancy Rats and Rat Palace .

We have been breeding from March 2004. We are aiming to produce some healthy, well temperamented rats of the Russian Blue and Russian Silver varieties. If you would like more information on our upcoming litters please click here . If you would like to speak to us about the possibility of reserving kittens click here - all potential new homes will be asked to complete an application form which we will then discuss with you.

Our first litters were carried out under the mentorship of Estelle Sandford . We would like to thank Estelle Sandford for everything she's done in mentoring us, Ann Storey for providing us with our first two breeding does (Emony and Lela) and Roger Merriman for his ongoing support and for letting us steal his boys every now and then!!

The name Tenaran Rats is now a registered N.F.R.S. stud name. We achieved registration in January 2006. Click here for more info.

Wow - it seems like an absolute age since I last added anything to this site!! Ever since the Cardiff show we've been really busy outside the ratty world and we've barely had a chance to think about the website, let alone do anything to it!!

All our ratties are doing well - the babies from our last litter have all gone off to lovely new homes and from the photos people have been sending us, they seem to be settling in really really well!! The ones that have stayed with us have come on well and are looking to have a promising show life ahead of them - of course the boys are all in their geeky phase atm so they're not going to any shows in the near future - however at least we've got the summer break coming up so that should give them a chance to prepare themselves!!

Nothing much more to say at the moment - hope you all are well out in the ratty world and we'll hope to see you all soon.
